Year 6 - Nant Ddu 

Shwmae! Welcome to the class page for Dosbarth Nant Ddu.

There are 22 of us in class and we are an enthusiastic, kind and happy class who thrive on challenges! Unfortunately, this is our last year in Ysgol y Castell but we fully intend on working hard and enjoying our final year before we embark on our new adventure in Comprehensive School.

Every morning we enjoy reading sessions, Literacy and Numeracy work. In the afternoons we complete our theme activities. Our P.E lessons will be held on Tuesday afternoons – please remember to wear your trainers and school PE kit. Our wellbeing lessons with Mrs Brown and Expressive Arts lessons with On the Beat will take place every Tuesday morning.

Spelling words will be posted on the class Google Classroom page, with a spelling test taking place every Friday morning.

As the older pupils of school, there are high expectations of us and we have important responsibilities this year. We are responsible for leading the way and modelling an exemplary example in terms of speaking Welsh, behaviour, effort and adhering to school values and rules. Something which we aim to achieve with great pride!
