School Uniform

The following is offered as school uniform:

Winter
Girls - grey skirt or trousers; white polo shirt and navy blue jumper embroidered with school
badge; navy socks/tights; black shoes
Boys - grey trousers; white polo shirt and navy blue jumper embroidered with school badge;
grey socks; black shoes

Summer
Girls - checked blue and white dress; white socks; black shoes
Boys - school polo shirt ; grey trousers/shorts; grey socks; black shoes
T shirts, polo shirts, jumpers, fleeces, sun hats, bags are all available to purchase through the
school, TS Sports, Caerphilly or CC Sports, Bargoed.

School uniform is not compulsory but we would recommend that children wear it every day in order to nurture good discipline and habits. The child feels pride in belonging to the school family of Ysgol Y Castell, and wearing school uniform strengthens this feeling of belonging and pride.
